Import DAZ file into Blender

Once the character has been finalized in DAZ Studio, we might want to import her back into Blender for posing and rendering. Again we press the Import File button to open the file browser. This time Mesh Fitting is left at the default value (Json File), since we exported a json file with the world-space coordinates from DAZ Studio.

There are also other import options, which are described in http://diffeomorphic.blogspot.com/p/import-into-blender.html. For more information how you can use the DAZ importer, see http://diffeomorphic.blogspot.com/p/daz-importer-version-13.html.

The character appears in the viewport.

And here she has been posed and rendered.

It is striking that the character looks far too young. The reason for this remains to be understood.
